New Video Release: A Conversation on Forgiveness and Political Forgiveness with Dr. Eileen Borris

ree

We are honoured to share a powerful and moving conversation that took place online with Feminenza and participants of the Erasmus+ project A Resilient Life, featuring award winning author and peacebuilder Dr. Eileen Borris.

In this session, we explore the vital role forgiveness plays - not only in personal healing, but also in community transformation and political reconciliation. Drawing from decades of experience in conflict zones around the world, Dr. Eileen Borris and Mary Noble share insights into political forgiveness, healing trauma, bridging divides, and the inner work needed to build lasting peace.

The conversation includes rich dialogue with participants from Kenya, Kosovo, Israel, and across Europe, touching on real-life challenges, practical questions, and the global relevance of this work today.

✨ Key themes include:

  • What political forgiveness is and why it matters now

  • Stories from Nigeria, Liberia, Kenya and beyond

  • Dealing with grief, revenge, and resistance to change

  • The intersection of forgiveness, trauma healing, and peacebuilding

  • The importance of empathy, humility, and inner transformation

This gathering is part of Feminenza’s long-standing commitment to healing, reconciliation and resilience through forgiveness - personally, communally, and globally.
