‘A Resilient Life’ project, co-funded by Erasmus+

In February 2025 youth workers met for 6 days retreat in Greece as part of “ A Resilient Life” project. Feminenza Denmark is grateful for the grant we received from Erasmus+ to co-fund this Professional Development Activity (PDA) for youth workers to: improve the reflective skills, attitudes, values and qualities which develop and sustain resilience; to improve cognizance and response to the drivers of anxiety, fear, trauma, revenge, primary and secondary mental trauma; and in the developing intactness, let go of adverse past events, forgive and be able to move on.

The participating youth workers could benefit from cross community engagement,
cross border collaboration and connectedness, building forward from the lessons learned. And not without games, humour, dance and song!
A festive cultural night and
a local outing was all part
of the week.
The PDA/ face to face retreat followed a year of online preparatory sessions with the partner organizations from Denmark, Germany, Greece, Israel, Jordan, Kosovo, Netherlands, Palestinian Territories, Portugal and Romania.

Workshops in Cafe Klare
'Inner Dignity' was the focus of 5 Feminenza workshops for users of Cafe Klare - shelter for homeless women in Copenhagen. The approach of the workshops was practical and playful with lots of exercises.
Thanks for the collaboration to Cafe Klare's team of volunteers, staff and users.
ההיבט החשוב ביותר עבורי הוא להרגיש את חום האחיות שהיה כאן היום - שעוזר לרפא חלק מהפצעים שבתוכי".
