About the event

Online zoom call for A Resilient Life participants. Forgiveness and Resilience – Pillar 4: Warmth, Where there is no forgiveness, life is chilled. Warmth separates us from that which destroys us. When someone extends warmth, sees you, believes in you, even a drop of warmth can help change a life.  

Every encounter we have in life can test us. Some events in life stop us. Some force us to retreat. Some are filled with unfairness and indecency. Some are traumatizing. Together, such moments build bias within the lower functioning parts of human brains – and make us behave with obstinacy, hardness, coldness, to isolate us from others. We may not want to behave like this but in some circumstances we may also find ourselves coming down hard on ourselves or others. 

The inner decision, the self-driven desire to develop and maintain human warmth is not free. We need to be present, to choose warmth over coldness. It takes effort, earned each…
