It was on Valentine’s Day many years ago that a group of women began working together, eventually becoming the founder members of Feminenza North America. In 2008, Feminenza North America (FNA) was formally established as a non-profit organization. As part of a larger international network, Feminenza North America is dedicated to the growth and development of women across the globe. Many of us hold a desire for the human race to move forward, out from the widespread chaos and turmoil and into a new humanity, and we believe that women have an essential role to play in making this transition. We also believe that the feminine gender is being called to assist in finding the remedy towards restoring our human purpose and dignity. However, to really make a difference in our own lives and/or for the lives of others, it requires that:

  • We know ourselves well and know what we want
  • We can find an inner connection to the higher parts of ourselves
  • We can rise above whatever it is that might be stopping us
  • We are grounded in foundational values and alignments
  • We understand how to better lead ourselves and others forward
  • We continually find the ways to connect to the deepest parts of ourselves and our purpose, with defining it and refining it… Again and again…

We are interested in upholding the best of one another and working towards establishing a real mutuality between men and women as we collectively reach for new possibility. As human beings, we are naturally meant to be uplifted and filled with an incredible well-being that comes from a connection to our higher purpose. But to be in that place of uplift and purpose requires conscious efforts.

Since its founding, Feminenza North America assisted with developing a number of programs including Transformative Leadership, Understanding and Managing Fear, Forgiveness and Reconciliation, and Trauma Healing. These programs have helped to transform many lives around the globe and in North America, from young girls in Kenya who, in times of turmoil and violence, were afraid to step out of their houses; to ex-gang leaders who stepped away from violence and are now forgiveness and reconciliation counselors in their own communities; to high school girls from New York who took part in a two-year Young Women’s Leadership Program which involved assisting younger girls in their community with anti-bullying and conflict resolution skills (article), to Forgiveness work at the Cascade Women’s Shelter in Seattle (article).

With membership across the US and Canada, each local chapter within FNA (in Seattle, New York, Tennessee, Florida, Toronto) holds regular meetings with its founding members to continue our own inner development work as well as to offer workshops, events and collaborating with other organizations to enhance their work through our programs.
