Co-Founder of Feminenza

Trained and qualified in social anthropology and archaeology, Mary's own inner journey over the last 35 years has led her to make a deep study of the development of women's spirituality throughout the ages. She soon found that little was known or available concerning the spiritual paths of women and from this grew a commitment to working with other women to develop their spiritual awareness alongside her own. In 1983 she co-founded Woman Alive with Joanna Francis and later Feminenza was established in 2000.

Currently residing in England, Mary is an international speaker and seminar leader and has developed many talks including 'The Trace of Feminine Spirituality' and "The Loving League of Sisters". These are truly inspiring and bring together some of the deeper aspects of the lives of women through the centuries. She believes passionately that we are in a critical time of change and that the liberation of the feminine soul at this point in history is essential for the future of life on this planet. Her commitment to developing a greater mutuality and new working relationship between men and women to help bring about this next stage of our evolution is demonstrated in her XX/XY seminars and talks. These include, "Exploring New Understandings about the XX and XY Genders" and "Battle of the Sexes or a Vision for a Shared Future?" She dedicates her time to giving lectures, seminars and workshops to women, men and school children, travelling across the globe on behalf of Feminenza.

Course Facilitator

After studying Politics and Philosophy at graduate level and Welfare Provision at post-graduate level, Anna worked for 15 years in the field of welfare and is experienced in many of the social, psychological and emotional issues affecting people's everyday lives. She focused on the management, design and provision of housing for elderly people and has also, through her own family, become highly compassionate and understanding about many issues concerning the ageing process and ill health. Her career also led her to be responsible for training and supervising others in the welfare field. Her awareness of social injustice and the need to find answers to what could make a difference in the world, led her to work in France, England and Scotland. Her thirty-year endeavour has included Anna working with many groups and individuals in the area she feels deeply about, that of personal development and its relevance to gender issues, relationships, community and the global issues of the 21st Century. Along with her husband of 25 years standing she has written about and run courses on how to successfully sustain a committed and loving partnership. Anna's compassionate, thoughtful and thorough approach has greatly added to establishing Feminenza, and she continues to pioneer new pathways to provide greater access to feminine personal development.

Many of you will have come into contact with her on the phone, by letter or on courses as she is the first point of contact for people getting in touch with Feminenza and is also a Course Facilitator. For more information about Feminenza and our events, please either e-mail or telephone on +44 (0) 1707 335420.

Course and Feminenza Facilitator

Lucinda's love for the rich expressions of life led her to spend ten years working in a variety of different theatres, from rep to street theatre including running her own prop business. Then she devoted her time to being a mother and now is a grandmother of two. She also assisted with her husband's company and now works for an architectural arbitrator. Recently she has renewed her theatre skills by attending a teaching course with the Mosaic Academy of Theatre, which she will be putting to great use on the Feminenza courses. Lucinda is full of energy, vitality and life and is continually learning new skills and her young at heart approach inspires everyone she meets. Over the last 25 years she has been running workshops and courses and is committed to promoting, discovering and sharing the work of Feminenza in a practical and theatrical way. She designs her courses to try and explore and release the spiritual potential of women today. She is passionate about each human life being able to connect to and express their core being and is a great advocate of each person's individuality and uniqueness.

Feminenza Representative - England

Linda has 30 years of experience in teaching mathematics and computing at secondary level in schools and also taught special needs for many years. Over the last 25 years in her spare time she has facilitated in groups concerning personal and spiritual development and since 2000 has been working to establish Feminenza. She has a passion about finding ways to help women access the best of themselves and believes that once the reasons for something are understood, you can start to change how you think about it. Her workshops on 'Building Confidence' provide a safe, supportive ecology for exploring one's areas of strength, whilst learning how to manage the areas of perceived weakness. She has also run workshops on 'Creativity and Versatility' and this she has put to use in her own life with contributions to the Feminenza magazine and by using her talent and flair in computing to produce much of the Feminenza material used within the courses in England. Also as part of the website team she is working to realise her dream of giving access to women across the world the forum to explore, learn and develop. Being a teacher and having been a volunteer in a women's refuge, at Crisis, a homeless charity, an animal sanctuary and in NGOs in India, where she takes children from her school for cross cultural exchanges, she is aware of much of the poverty and hardship of many people and living beings in the world. Although the task seems overwhelming, she draws strength from a saying of Mother Theresa that, 'in this life we cannot do great things, but we can do small things with great love'. Linda's own great love is to provide some education and opportunities for people's personal growth and to extend encouragement and networking support that she knows are so badly needed.
